Job Purpose

Primary purpose of the role – briefly describe in one or two sentences why the job exists: To responsible for penetrate new market and developing business in and Phnom Penh Achieve sales plan objectives with assigned Small Medium Enterprise (SME) clients and targets by effectively selling CEVA’s services.

Key Accountabilities

Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

  1. Conduct sales calls to established accounts and/ or target accounts within a targeted industry
  2. Provide information to Business Development Manager for sales planning and forecast activities (including prospect qualification and local market intelligence)
  3. Execute sales process. Generate business with assigned SME clients and targets in line with the sales plan.
  4. To support Business Development Manager in gathering market intelligence
  5. To follow up overseas sales lead, instruction and feedback to overseas
  6. To handle enquiries or divert enquiries from customers to respective departments
  7. To issue quotations as per instruction of Business Development Manager
  8. To be responsible and coordinate with accounts and keep track of the outstanding of assigned customers
  9. To follow up on claim handling and complaints in close cooperation with operations and with Business Development Manager
  10. Performs other duties as required/assigned by Business Development Manager

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

The knowledge, experience and skills required to undertake the level at a fully competent level:

  • Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 2-3 years + in International trading (sales experience for relevant sector air and ocean freight)
  • Specialist Knowledge & Skills
    • Good at computer skills
    • Knowledge in freight management.
    • Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, understanding of customer requirements, analysis and resolution of problems and complaints
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
    • Good communication
    • Good in English language
    • Problem solving skill
