Employment: Full time contract with 3-month probation period

Reporting to: Country Director/Regional Infrastructure Manager
Overview of the Role
We are looking for a motivated and independent individual to support the digital solutions that will drive the service delivery in the communities. We are building our suite of master Application and the successful candidate will assist the roll out of this suit at the country level.
The successful candidate will be able to interact with developers and pull together the issues from the App users during the testing. S/he will be able to manage the implementation of the technology, report problems, and then work directly with the back-end developers to understand the issues and how to address them to support the ground activities.
Duties
- The role scope and responsibilities of the IT Support Officer will be:
- User support on digital channels and phone
- Analyzing possible causes of user problems / communicating back to developers’ teams;
- Documentation of issues and management of resolutions
- Checking and assuring the delivery of features
- Involvement in user acceptance testing;
- Provide direct support to field-based teams with some frequent travels to implementation sites;
- Managing relationships between users and internal team;
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in help desk / relevant technology field;
- Ability to communicate with developers and non-technical persons in the organisation which has English as its corporate language;
- Appreciation of the need for clear requirements and acceptance testing in a fast-moving organisation;
- Experience of the need for security and data privacy;
- Knowledge in a selection of the following and prepared to learn others as required:
- Help desk
- Data structures
- Data Privacy and appreciation of data security
- Agile methods
- Ability for remote work as part of virtual teams;
- Knowledge of healthcare system is an advantage;
- Working knowledge of English is a strong advantage;
- Strong team working skills and flexibility to work as part of a small-but-growing team in a dynamic way as occasional flexibility is required to support field operations.
