This position is for Cheminstry Environment and Food Safety Laboratory.
Duties
- Coordinate and develop the food and water chemistry activities
- Train and valuate and monitoring staff competency on food and water chemistry analysis
- Develop new methods on food and water chemistry analysis (including heavy metals, pesticides and antibiotics residuals)
- Contribute to ISO 17025 accreditation process
- Develop or review SOP for food and chemistry activities
- Ensure staff following SOP
- Ensure staff respect security and hygiene procedures
- Validate technical sheet
- Ensure analysis timeline
- Any task required by the Head of laboratory
Requirements
- Recruitment conditions:
- Diploma related to food science and chemistry
- Experience at least 5 years with food and water chemistry
- Experience with AAS/ICP-OES, HPLC and GC-MS/MS
- Experience with ISO17025 is an asset
- Language required: good English (oral and written)
- Available to start in June 2021
- Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge in food and water chemistry
- Mastering of good laboratory practices
- Mastering internet and computer skills
- Rigorous, sense of responsibilities
- Dynamic character, eager to learn, sociable and enthusiastic
