I.          Job Summary

Graphic design is responsible for creating both 2-D and 3-D designs for every thing from posters to post cards to product packaging.

Graphic Design might create graphics in print and online, layout apage of text and graphics, help with the development of maps, design brochures set type, or draw an original illustration

Graphic designers would be responsible for learning the most recent editions of programs like AdobePhotoshop, Illustrator,and InDesign inorder to be eligible for many jobs in the field.

Graphic Design would also be responsible for knowing how to operate peripheral hardware like printers, scanners, and digital cameras. 

II.        Required Qualification

    Education/Vocational Training

    At least Year3, (inparticular, majorin GraphicDesign).

    Experience

    Minimumtwo-yearexperienceofGraphic Design orasimilarposition.

    Personal Qualities andSkills

    KnowledgeofSale,Marketing & social media.

    Good communication and problem-solving skills

    Ability toworkwell withotherstaffmembers.

    Self-motivated

    Fastlearner and willing to learnnewskills.

    Ableto workin shift, weekends and publicholidays.

    Language and Knowledge

    Good command ofspoken and writtenEnglish. Knowledgeof otherlanguages is aplus

III.    Key DutiesandResponsibilities

    Conceptualizevisuals based on requirements

    Prepare roughdrafts andpresent ideas

    Develop illustrations, logos and otherdesigns using softwareor by hand

    Usethe appropriate colors and layouts foreach graphic

 

Work with copywriters and creativedirectorto producefinal design Amend designs after feedback

Ensurefinal graphics andlayouts arevisually appealing and on-brand

Prepareswork to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.

Communicating with Marketing team about layout and design.

Ensureprojects arecompleted with high quality and on schedule

Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary

Possiblytraining morejuniorstaffmembers
