- Reporting to: Team Leader – Women’s Rights
- Salary range: Grade D
Overview:
The Women’s Rights Officer is responsible for the delivery and monitoring of ActionAid Cambodia’s strategy to promote freedom from GBV and equal access to rights and opportunities. She is the focal person to facilitate Women’s Rights team(staff members from WR and related projects, campaign, and communication). She also is responsible for programme quality monitoring, design, reporting, and engaging in advocacy and campaign activities for ActionAid Cambodia as well as ActionAid International platforms.
Requirements
- At least university degree in Gender, Law or Political Science, Public Policy, or other relevant qualification and other relevant training in related field.
- At least 3 years working experience with I/NGO on GBV and WR
- Good experience in financial and project management including assessment, Planning, M&E, measuring impact.
- Good knowledge of gender quality and social inclusion.
- Knowledge/experience with social accountability tools and gender-responsive public services and budgeting
- Ability to undertake analysis of the laws, policies, plans, and institutional frameworks related to WR in Cambodia
- Good knowledge on sector-related works and policies at the national and sub-national level, including research, policy analysis.
- Experience in engaging in campaign and advocacy (Campaigning and lobbying skills) at sub-national l and national level.
- Successful experience in proposal writing and Planning and Budgeting.
- Experience of coordinating/facilitating networks or coalitions
- Excellent understanding and analysis of Social Media and its use in campaigns
